Nearly twenty years in business and I've seen some shit, but it's what I didn't see that lead me here.

 

Over the years, I have met many amazing people with amazing skills and amazing knowledge floating around their brains, but they were so busy searching outside themselves for best practice, the right way, the way their leaders did it before them, that they were missing their own magic.

 

For that reason, I decided to pursue coaching and consulting full time to help other professionals spark that magic and leverage their unique strengths and experiences so they can bring their own flavour and value to the table.​

 

In almost two decades, I've worn a few hats.  I discovered my love for creative problem solving and continuous improvement during my years in financial and business analysis.  This love for creative problem solving has remained a thread through my career, weaving through all my projects, consulting and employment. 

 

Having spent several years as a faculty member with the University of Saskatchewan, I taught thousands of students management, organizational effectiveness and business strategy. My work with students ignited my love for coaching, mentorship, public speaking and facilitation.

 

My time leading high performance teams in operations and process effectiveness required a deep understanding of the complexities and intricacies of interdepartmental projects, relationships and dynamics while simultaneously managing employee motivation and engagement, health and wellbeing.

 

Throughout those years, maintaining a consulting side hustle gave me even greater appreciation and context for a wide variety of organizations and industries and the different challenges they face.​

 

I'm a little unorthodox, a little sweary and I don't take myself too seriously. I like making stuff (check out my Amazon and Etsy), and I've been known to paint my walls more than any normal person should.

When I'm not working (and sometimes even when I am), you'll find me outdoors, generally in the trees and almost definitely near water.
